Will anyone find out about coming to therapy? All information both personal and clinical is kept strictly confidential, and I adhere to all applicable state and federal laws regarding confidentiality. This means that I will not disclose any information about you or your treatment to anyone without your express written consent, except in certain rare circumstances such as if I believe you may be in danger of hurting yourself or someone else. I have intentionally designed my office waiting room to protect your privacy when you arrive for your session. The counseling space is also soundproof and equipped with white noise machines to ensure the confidentiality of our conversations. Below is an awesome article written by my colleagues about privacy if you'd like to learn more.

How much does counseling cost at Frontline Counseling? At Frontline Counseling, the cost of counseling can vary depending on a few factors. Many insurance providers may cover the cost of counseling, and I am happy to work with clients to help them navigate their insurance options. If private cash pay is preferred, discounts are given to first responders, military, and medical personnel. My goal is to make counseling as accessible as possible, and I encourage clients to reach out if they have any concerns or questions about the cost of services. It's important to note that while cost is certainly a consideration, I believe that mental health care is essential and worth investing in.

How do I find the right counselor? At Frontline Counseling, we believe it is crucial to find a counselor who is the right fit for you. Here are some steps to help you find the right counselor: 1. Determine your specific needs and goals for counseling. Are you looking for individual or couples counseling? Do you have a specific issue you want to work on, such as anxiety or depression? 2. Consider the therapist's specialties and expertise. At Frontline Counseling, I have unique areas of expertise, such as psychological survival, wellness, and resiliency . Look for a therapist whose specialties match your specific needs. 3. Read the therapist's bio and credentials. I encourage you to check with the state board of licensure to learn if they have ever had their license suspended or revoked. Knowing a therapist's background, education, and experience can give you a better idea of whether they may be a good match for you. 4. Schedule an initial session where you can ask questions and get a sense of the counselor's style and approach to therapy. This can help you determine whether they feel like a good fit for you. Overall, finding the right therapist is a process that can take time and effort. At Frontline Counseling, I am committed to helping you find the right therapist who can help you achieve your goals and support you on your journey to better mental health.
